Enable Two-Factor Authentication
2FA is the single most important security measure. Epic Games offers email 2FA, authenticator app 2FA, and SMS 2FA. We recommend using an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Go to epicgames.com/account/security
- Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
- Choose "Authenticator App" for best security
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Enter the code to verify and enable 2FA
